Poly/Nylon is similar to the Poly with the additional Polyamide overcoat to improve the abrasion resistance and heat shock characteristics for coil and motor windings. Soldering temperatures are 390°C (735°F) for 24-55 AWG.
Typical applications are within appliance motors, relays, timer and clock coils, encapsulated coils, solenoids, toroid coils, precision and random wound coils.
