We continuously strive to improve our processes by having a strong internal governance framework with clear policies and guidelines which support us in value-creating decision-making. We focus on knowing our suppliers, reducing our environmental footprint and water consumption. Equally important are respecting human rights and ensuring fair working conditions, fighting corruption and respecting laws and regulations wherever we operate.

Safety is always top priority at Sandvik, and we have a vision of zero harm. Safety is all about people – and people are our most powerful asset. Nothing is more important than their wellbeing and there are no shortcuts. We are convinced that all accidents can be prevented. Zero is possible and we work towards it every day, 365 days a year.

Environmental responsibility is an integral part of our business. We take the steps necessary to minimize our environmental footprint while also ensuring that these efforts create business benefits for our customers and ourselves. To achieve this, we continue to find innovative ways throughout the value chain to minimize our environmental footprint.
