Key Performance Areas:

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible to manage the site Quality Management Systems and certificates and provide recommendations to management and all departments. A major focus of this position will be working with all Sandvik High Precision Tube teams and ensuring the company processes are implemented and maintained properly without compromising compliance.

Key responsabilities:

  • Maintain & optimize the Quality Management System structure to ensure compliance to Group Policies and Quality Standards like ISO 9001 & 9100; IATF 16949 Automotive; ISO 17025; ISO 13485; Nadcap & High-Pressure Directives,

  • Ensure that quality assurance routines and processes are in place in the unit, and develop Quality awareness level as determined within the organization,

  • Establish an effective Management Review process, including routine reporting with reviewing and improving methods, tools and processes,

  • Plan, prepare and conduct internal and external audits in the fields of Medical, Aerospace and Automotive and further requirements,

  • Prepare and conduct Customers audits, and participate to any new customer qualifications,

  • To understand and analyze customers requirements and internal specifications to ensure the Quality Management System

  • Maintain and update procedures and documentations relative to the production and to others processes in the unit,

  • Maintain and update the quality processes and machinery control processes required to ensure product quality and customer requirements,

  • Conduct root-cause analysis and problem solving on complex issues and communicate it accordingly within the receiving teams members, enabling them to take required and appropriate actions.

Your profile :

  • Engineer Degree in Management of Quality or Technical field with relevant experience in high-quality level demanding industry(ies).

  • Good understanding with Quality Standard ISO 9001 and/or specific high demanding quality standards like Aerospace, Medical and Automotive,

  • Quality Management Systems and internal/external Audit experience is required,

  • Solid Analytical skills - demonstrated ability to trouble-shoot complex process/system issues,

  • Excellent communication - effective written and oral communications skills, organizational and project management skills,

  • Network oriented and able to interact with different business functions and can work within numerous systems,

  • Very good knowledge of German and excellent written and spoken English skills.
