Sandvik at the World Nuclear Exhibition 2014

Sandvik will demonstrate how its materials technology and tube solutions are bringing improved safety and reduced failures to power plants worldwide at the World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE) 2014.

More than 6,000 visitors are expected at the leading event for the global nuclear energy sector which takes place in Paris Le Bourget, France, from October 14 - 16.

Sandvik Materials Technology will be on Stand: G81 to display its extensive program of tube and pipe specifically developed for a range of primary, secondary and auxiliary systems. The program comprises more than 40 different materials supplied as tubes in seamless, welded or welded and redrawn condition with many other special grades available on request.

"Our stainless steels and special alloys have been relied upon in the most demanding applications across the nuclear industry. They cover all fuel designs, most technical specifications, and have been delivered to around 100 reactor units since 1964," said Mikael Blazquez, Manager of Business Unit Nuclear, Sandvik.

"We work closely with our customers as a trusted partner. Our high quality solutions include steam generator tubes designed to meet the most stringent MIZ-30/70 requirements. Customers also have choice of a wide range of advanced stainless steel and high nickel alloy nuclear fuel cladding tubes by Sandvik."

Mikael Blazquez added, "Meeting the industry in person at events like WNE is key to how Sandvik understands its customers' needs better than anyone else. Our advanced materials are produced according to customers' most strict quality requirements, for example RCC-M and ASME III are our specialty."
