Challenges are inevitable with medical device design. To help solve yours, we provide extra processing services. From anodizing, polymer coating, coiling, cutting to length, electroplating and lead finishing, use our expertise to find your best solution.

Anodizing
Meet the reel-to-reel electrolytic passivation process for aluminum alloys, designed to enhance the natural oxidation layer for improved dielectric behavior.

Coating
Discover the wide range of different base polymer insulation and PTFE coatings available.

Coiling
Let us support your development and production needs with prototype and custom coiling options.

Cutting to length
For maximum processing efficiency at point of use, ultra-fine medical wire components, ribbon, multi-filar and stranded cables can be supplied as precisely cut-to-length pieces.

Nitinol processing
Nitinol requires special treatment. While the processing of other materials is usually unproblematic, with nitinol the main focus must be on maintaining the temperature-dependent properties. Some processes can irreversibly damage both the material and the mold. For example, massive wear occurs when machining nitinol.

The use of nitinol in medical technology in the form of instruments and implants also usually requires special surface treatment. Our team has built up extensive expertise in the processing of nitinol over 20 years. Not only does the success of the process play a role, but also the cost-effectiveness in series production.

Plating and electropolishing
With our extensive offering of reel-to-reel electroplating, we can apply one or several metallic coatings on wires to improve characteristics such as electrical property, acid resistance of even aesthetic appearance.

Special handling
A state-of-the-art ISO Class 7 certified cleanroom enables the various production states of medical wires.

Stripping
To make sure leads can be used directly in downstream manufacturing operations, we can remove polymer coating from coated wire ends with the most precise tolerances.
